As an editor, I've interviewed many professionals in various fields. This time, my interviewee, Wang Ce, is both a coffee expert and a world champion. Despite his extraordinary life journey, he remains composed and at ease. We met at VWI by CHADWANG, a coffee shop he personally designed. Its pure white exterior stands out as a tranquil oasis in the bustling East District. This time, JUKSY will delve deeper into Wang Ce's journey of pursuing his dreams through a leisurely afternoon of coffee brewing, and discuss how to incorporate "refinement" into everyday life!
Coffee and I, it's all fate.
Before meeting Wang Ce, no one knew that "coffee" was his family business. Growing up surrounded by coffee, Wang Ce initially didn't think it would be his "destiny." Until one day, he tasted a cup of fruity specialty coffee, which instantly opened up his senses, and he discovered that such a wonderful thing existed in the world. Therefore, he resolved to study it diligently, vowing to make a name for himself as a "barista" and challenge himself in life!
Recalling his time competing abroad, Wang Ce shared with us that besides the ten years of hard work behind the scenes, the key was to differentiate himself from others! "Before the competition, I designed a whole performance process from scratch, including brewing techniques, bean selection, and water selection. Once everything was set up, I moved it to Budapest intact. The key point is that I also carried my own specially prepared water, exactly ten kilograms, in the shipment! It's unbelievable that I could do that, and I'm very impressed with myself (laughs)."
